Colors to suit your style and decor
Color can be a powerful design element. The color of your floor creates the foundation of the room’s design. Canterbury understands the importance of color and the role it plays in your home’s décor. In addition to the natural color of the fifty species we work with, Canterbury can also stain floors to match virtually any tone.

Natural Tones
Nature has provided an incredible palette to from which to choose your floor. With looks as varied as stark white Clear White Maple to the deepest blacks of Wenge and Ebony, we offer every species we work with in a natural, prefinished style.

Standard Stains
Sometimes the combination of color, feature, and price a customer requests can not be obtained with a naturally finished product. Or, we may wish to accent certain features, like a deep hand scraped or wire brushed surface. In these cases, we begin to explore the possibilities associated with the use of a stain. Over time, we have developed a number of custom colors that have now become favorites of our clients and our staff. These colors are added to our library of standard stains.

Custom Stains
Canterbury has always taken the approach that a custom floor should be just that- custom. Have an old antique or a favorite picture frame you love the color of? We would be glad to match it, or create an entirely new color inspired by the piece and your guidance. We will even let you name the final result.
